Privacy Policy

This page explains what personal data Ratynas collects, why, and what rights you have over it. Ratynas is a one-person project, not a large company with a legal team — but that doesn't lower the bar: if you're in the EU, GDPR applies, and this policy is written to meet it.
Who's responsible for your data
Ratynas is currently run by one person, not a registered company. For anything privacy-related — access requests, deletion, complaints — contact testbusideas@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account info: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password — or, if you sign in with Google, your Google name, email, and profile photo.
- Listings you post: vehicle details, description, location, and photos.
- Messages you send through the site's chat.
- Feedback you submit — bug reports, suggestions, or advertising inquiries — including an optional screenshot.
- Donation records: the amount and a payment reference from Paysera. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Your language preference (stored in a cookie) and your IP address, used only to prevent abuse.
Why we collect it
- To create and secure your account.
- To let you post listings and message other users.
- To send account emails, like email verification.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To process a donation you choose to make.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run Ratynas, each only processing data to provide their service to us: Neon (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting and photo storage), Resend (sending emails), Paysera (processing donations), and Google (if you sign in with Google, or once ads are added). We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
- Account data: until you ask us to delete your account.
- Listings: kept with your account, including sold or removed ones, so you keep a record of your own activity.
- Messages: kept as long as the conversation exists in your account.
- Feedback submissions: kept only as long as needed to act on them, typically under 12 months.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you can ask us to let you see what data we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, delete your account and its data, give you a copy of your data, or stop using your data in a particular way. Email testbusideas@gmail.com for any of these. You can also complain to Lithuania's State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) if you think we've mishandled your data.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies today. If that changes — for example when ads are added — we'll update this page and ask for consent where required.
Changes to this policy
If anything material changes, we'll update the date at the top and highlight the change on the site.
